Falkirk member climbs Kilimanjaro for charity

Paul McBride, a member at our Falkirk health club will be challenging himself by climbing Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa on a 9-day hike during October 2022.

The purpose of his walk is to fundraise for Robin House (Children’s Hospices Across Scotland) in Balloch. Robin House (CHAS) cares for children with life-shortening illnesses and provide support for their families.

It offer a full family support service for babies, children and young people. This includes palliative care, family respite and support - through hospices, home care services and hospital presence.

He first heard of Robin House whilst reading a travel book called Long Way Down by Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman a number of years ago.
